Resolution to Reject the Administration’s use of APARC’s (2021-22) Formula that Reduces Assigned Time
Resolved: that the Senate rejects APARC’s 2021-2022 recommendations on the calculation of
Department Chair assigned time. The Senate recommends that assigned time follow prior
practice (CBA 20.3) and should be kept the same as in previous years. If multiple departments
are merged, the chair assigned time should at least be equal to the sum of the previous departments’
assigned time.
