All Faculty Governance committees will continue to meet virtually until further notice. Social distancing cannot be achieved with any existing Sonoma State meeting rooms for any of our committees. Until the county’s shelter-in-place orders are lifted or robust COVID-19 treatments are available or a vaccine is found, committees should not meet in person.  

Meeting virtually in the Spring has not caused any disruption to faculty governance work or activities and we are confident that any issues encountered in the upcoming academic year can be addressed with existing technologies.

We are committed to ensuring continuity and leadership with respect to Faculty Governance and we are equally committed to doing our part to eliminate potential sources of exposure and transmission of the virus.
