Resolution Seeking ASCSU Formal Opinion on the Interim Time, Place and Manner Policy
Resolved: That the Sonoma State Academic Senate direct its ASCSU representatives (Senators Newman and Nguyen) to raise the issue of both content and process of development of the newly issued Systemwide Interim Time, Place and Manner Policy (TPM) at the September plenary of the ASCSU; and be it further
Resolved: That the Sonoma State Academic Senate request that the ASCSU formally express its opinion on both the content, including but not limited to issues of academic freedom and student learning and engagement, of the Interim TPM Policy and the process used to develop the policy; and be it further
Resolved: That the Sonoma State Academic Senate request that the ASCSU widely publicize the results of its investigation of the development process and its opinion on the content of the Interim TPM Policy.
